  • Within these global trends, business models utilizing donations already exist, but they have mostly been limited to one-off events led by companies or celebrities, such as offline bazaars (where sales proceeds are donated to individuals or nonprofits) or charity events. In traditional business structures, operating foundations have sustained donation businesses by receiving a certain percentage of event proceeds.
